What happens when something fails after hours?
Call (416) 888-1371. Emergency repairs are 24/7. If there is a gas smell, get everyone out first and call Enbridge Gas at 1-866-763-5427 or 911 from outside, as Enbridge instructs (Enbridge Gas). For a burst pipe, close the building's main valve first; who shuts it off at the street depends on the city, on each city page.
How do I send a commercial request?
Use the request form for businesses. It takes the address of the job, photos or a video, and how soon you need it, and it lands in the same job inbox as a call or a text to (289) 639-2754. For larger work, choose "A quote to replace or install" and attach what you have: photos, drawings or the equipment list.
Jackman Mechanical prices each job directly with you; no prices are published on this site.
Which rules come up on commercial jobs?
In Ontario, fuel-fired appliance work must be done by TSSA-registered contractors with TSSA-certified gas technicians (TSSA). Rental buildings in Toronto must hold at least 21°C from October 1 to May 15 (City of Toronto). Toronto Building issues stand-alone permits for plumbing fixtures, buried piping, backflow devices and heating equipment, with their fees in the permits guide.
